Asuncion RIVERA Y TORRES was born on 13 August 1900 in Pueblo Sur Aibonito, PR.^2,28,29 She appeared in the census in 1910 in Aibonito, PR.² She appeared in the census in 1920 at Living with Lupianez family in Aibonito, PR.¹⁴ Asuncion Travel to New York City on 15 August 1927 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.²⁸ She appeared in the census in 1935 in Santurce, PR.³⁰ She died in October 1986 at the age of 86 in San Juan, San Juan, PR.³¹

Asuncion RIVERA Y TORRES and Manuel LAFONT were married on 30 January 1921 in Aibonito, PR.^32,33 They^{^32,33} appeared in the census in 1930 at 241 E 114 Str in Manhattan, NY, NY.³⁴ They^³⁴ were divorced before 1935.^35,36 Asuncion and Manuel^{^35,36} were married before 1940.³⁶ Manuel LAFONT, son of Avelino LAFONT, was born in 1901 in Puerto Rico.^32,37

23	ii.	Manuel LAFONT was born on 25 October 1921 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.^28,37,39 He appeared in the census in 1930 in Manhattan, NY, NY.³⁷ He died on 5 October 1994 at the age of 72 in PR.

Asuncion RIVERA Y TORRES and Antonio BALLESTEROS were married on 30 March 1934 in Manhattan, NY, NY.⁴⁰ They^⁴⁰ appeared in the census in 1940 at 1641 65th St. in New York, Kings, NY.⁴¹ Antonio BALLESTEROS was born about 1906 in Puerto Rico.⁴¹ He died in May 1980 at the age of 74 in Carolina, Puerto Rico.⁴²
