Scrapbooks: Edward Worthington Dorsey & Elizabeth Eleanor (Brown) Dorsey

Born in Anne Arundel Co, MD, he migrated with wife, six children and household to Pike Co, MO in 1835. He acquired quite a bit of land in Pike and Lincoln Counties, and became a prominent farmer. Born in Baltimore, MD, she gave birth to a total of 11 children, 8 surviving to adulthood. After the end of the Civil War, the entire family left Missouri, collected in Stanislaus County, CA where they remained.
