255. Apollos PADDOCK was born on 8 September 1760 in Middleborough, Plymouth, MA.569 He served in the military in 1776 in Middleborough, Plymouth, MA.589 He served in the military on 6 May 1778 in Dartmouth, Bristol, MA.590 Paddock Genealogy, Curfman, p 97:
Enlisted with those raised to reinforce the con army in 1780...was for some time in the army of the revolution, tho at an early age and in the capacities of officer's servant and soldier. The bounty and pay which he and [brother] Gaius reveived fromt he toqn for their service enabled their father to purchase of the town 50 acres of woodland, the ministerial land, lying between his former land and the old Plymouth road. He served first in Rhode Island, in Lt Jonah Washburn's Co under col. Ebenr Sproat jr. He was avolunteer under Lieut dol Barton at the taking of gen. Prescot...On a visit home, he was taken sick of a fever, and his brother Gaius made good his place in the army. He turned out in Capt. Nathl Wood's Co at the first alarm Dartmouth, May 6-9 1778...We find him enrolled in the contl service as 18 yrs. of age...He was also in the service at West Point during the period of Arnold's treachery, and he witnessed the execution of Andre"...applied for a pension. Apollos served in the military on 23 July 1779 in Middleborough, Plymouth, MA.591 He served in the military in 1780 in Middleborough, Plymouth, MA.592,593 He died on 8 March 1838 at the age of 77 in Woodstock, Windsor, VT.594 State of Vermont, Windsor County: On the 9th day of September AD 1888 personally appeared before me Walter Palmer a Justice of the peace, within and for said county Belenda Sutton, a resident of Woodstock, in the County of Windsor, aforesaid, aged 5 years; who being first duly sworn according to law, doth on oath depose and say that she was acquainted with Apollos Paddock late of said Woodstock deceased a Revolutionary pensioner of the United States, and the same person whose widow now resides in the town, whose name is Polly Paddock. And that he died at the said Woodstock on the 8th day of March AD 1838, and the said Polly Paddock still remains his widow not having married since the decease of the said Apollos Paddock. also a revolutionary soldier; he lived in the State of Vermont, and died at the age of 77, leaving a number of children.

Apollos PADDOCK and Mary "Polly" HUDSON were married on 18 August 1797 in Barnard, Windsor, VT.595,596 They595,596 lived in Woodstock, Windsor, VT in 1800.597 They597 lived in Williamstown, Orange, VT in 1820.597 Mary "Polly" HUDSON was born in 1771 in Barnard, Windsor, VT.595
