11. John PADDOCK was born on 1 April 1643 in Plymouth Colony, MA.44 He was appointed surveyor of highways in 1685 45 He died on 12 May 1719 at the age of 76 in Swansea, Bristol, MA.46 Somewhere I found a record of his death - date given - not the one given by Torrey. I'm not changing my original information but I haven't got a source or citation for it. Curfman, p 29: Singner of the agreement for the founding of Swansea 1667 and lived in the section that was later Barrington, RI. Capt. Thomas Willett left "To old servant John Paddock £10" in his will 25 Nov 1674, John having been his ward 1650. Captain Willett was Mayor of New York 1664-7. Apparently at Charlestown, MA 1678 he owned a "wharf bed" and his widow was supported by that town in 1720. "Hannah Paddock" and her children John and Mary were mentioned in the will of her maternal grandmother Sybelle Doolittle, Malden, MA 25 Dec 1683 probated 1690.

John PADDOCK and Anna JONES were married on 21 December 1673 in Swansea, MA.44,46,47 Anna JONES, daughter of Robert JONES and Anna BIBBLE, was born on 17 March 1656 in Swansea, Bristol, MA.48 She died on 18 January 1726 at the age of 69 in Swansea, Bristol, MA.49
