17. Robert PADDOCK was born on 16 January 1669/70 in Yarmouth, Barnstable, MA.^96,97 He lived in Manomet, Plymouth, MA in 1705.⁹⁸ He was elected as selectman in 1720/1 in Manomet, Plymouth, MA.⁹⁹ Robert lived in Mansfield, Tolland, CT after 1730.⁹⁹ He died before 1750 at the age of 80 in Mansfield, Tolland, CT.¹⁰⁰ Curfman p.33:
Removed to Chatham, MA abt 1703 "and settled in the north part of town near Great Hill" Selectman 1720 - 1 Removed soon after 1730 to Mansfield, Conn. where his wife's relatives had settled and where he bought land from Isaac Hall 3 July 1734 and two house lots next to that of Dea. Josiah Conant 22 Jan 1735/6. Some of his descendants said to have removed to The Oblong, New York-Vermont disputed territory. Conveyed to son Seth part of a house lot in Mansfield near land of Robert Arnold.

Early Chatham Settlers, Cape Cod Library, Vol II, p 591:
Serg. Robert Paddock, son of Zachariah and Deborah (Sears) paddock of Yarmouth, born January 17, 1670/1 married Martha Hall, daughter of John and Priscilla (Bearse) Hall of Yarmouth, March 6, 1701/2. He moved to Monomoit sonn after the birth of his second child in 1705 and settled on a farm in the north part of the town near Great Hill. He was selectman in 1720 and 1721, and was living at Chatham as late as 1730, but removed soon after to Mansfield, CT where Joseph, William and Benjamin Hall of Yarmouth and other relatives fo his wife had settled. He probably died there before 1750 and his children or most of them removed to the "Oblong." (Leonard Smith, Jr, Gen Pub, 1992)

Robert PADDOCK and Martha HALL were married on 6 March 1701/2.⁹⁶ Martha HALL, daughter of John HALL and Priscilla BEARSE, was born on 24 May 1676 in Yarmouth, Barnstable, MA.¹⁰¹
